Typic - Text on Photos App Reviews

I LOVE this app for adding text to photos. Thats why I originally bought it, and then I started to really like the funky frames as it gave my photos a look that I hadnt seen much online. Then they updated it and took ALL of the fun frames away and now all they have it a choice of frame colour and a texture that you can barely see. That I was pretty disappointed about but I still really like the text so Im awarding 4 stars. I also think that there should be an option to resize the icons & designs. Dear typic makers: please bring back some funky frames and put in a button to change the sizing of the designs! Then Ill give you 5 stars!! For now Im going to use a different app because the of the frames.

Always crashes when I try to save my photos.. Beginning to get really mad. I even uninstalled it then reinstalled it

When editing a pic it will leave when I add design 3 please fix its still a amazing editor just please fix the problem!! :)

Amazing job on this app, you guys really thought of everything and I love it. Only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating is when I want to create a custom color for text or add-on graphics, I have to enter the manual RGB codes. The everyday person such as myself doesnt know the codes, so unless you have a chart handy its painstaking slow to make custom colors by trial and error. Other than that, 2 thumbs up!

Overall good. I own the pro version and all packs. Problem is it restricts u to 4 words per font. Unless u pick a font then type everything in that placeholder. But if u need to have only one word then an icon then another word to the right it limits u to 4. This makes it unusable for me. Remove that restriction and I will give 5 rating.

Good app, lots of fonts. Doesnt support formats like 4x3, 16x9...etc. Only square format.

You will get one more star if you fix that when you export pic, it makes it a square as default (instead of a wide YouTube screen 16:9 that I designed it as), making me have to go into photos and crop it off. Annoying! Fix this and this one of my fave apps!

I am so impressed with this app and the amazing team behind it! I had a technically difficulty which was resolved within minutes and Im so very pleased with the results! Ive used this app to create all sorts of posters and cards. Typic was the first app and its still the best--A must try!

This app is really great. You can use your creativity without limits. The tools are fantastic and your photos end up looking great! Totally recommend this app :)

Ive used this app for years, and have had very few issues with it. However I can no longer use it as when I save the image to my Camera Roll the resolution is very low. This app would be 5 stars if I could actually use it without this issue.

Save images at full resolution! Lowering the resolution of an image should be a choice not automatic (VSCO for example offers a choice of res when saving) I love this app and want it to be my go-to for text and watermarking but the image quality is poor. Most noticeable are the bright whites, after saving in Typic they look pinkish and are not even usable on Instagram. Give me Full Resolution so I can love this app!

My only problem with this app is the image quality when I export.
